A residential building collapsed Thursday leaving two dead and several injured   in Sukkur's Hussaini road area.

Rescue  personnel confirmed that four people so far had been pulled out from the rubble. 

More people are yet to be rescued whose condition remains unknown. 

The rescue mission is facing severe problems as the area is covered by darkness. The collapse damaged an 11KV electric wire that provided electricity to the area.

According to locals, around three families resided in the collapsed building.

Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah took notice of the incident and ordered that the injured be immediately provided medical aid.
